We believe that protecting beings from suffering and death is a genuine expression of compassion. Every month, we rescue animals in imminent danger of death and release them back into their natural habitat, offering them a new chance at life – a profoundly transformative gesture, for them and for us.
PROTECTORS OF LIFE
Inspired by Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, the Protector of Lives network brings together groups in different countries – including Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands and Angola – dedicated to freeing animals at risk: from the smallest insects to fish, horses and cows.
COMPASSION IN ACTION
Other groups are also dedicated to saving lives in Brazil and abroad, and there are sanctuaries that shelter rescued animals, ensuring they live with care and protection until the natural end of their lives.
