The Protector of Lives BR group performs monthly lifesaving practices – we rescue animals that would be killed (for various reasons and often brutally) and release them into their natural environment with conditions to survive.

​

This is a practice guided and encouraged by the Buddhist tradition, but you don't have to be a Buddhist to participate (learn how here).

SAVING LIVES PRACTICE

Saving lives is the practice of rescuing and protecting beings at risk of imminent death.

There are other groups that carry out saving lives in Brazil and abroad.

We request that offerings be made by the day of the rescue's eve at 6 p.m.
