We believe that protecting beings from suffering and death is a genuine expression of compassion. Every month, we rescue animals in imminent danger of death and release them back into their natural habitat, offering them a new chance at life – a profoundly transformative gesture, for them and for us.
PROTECTORS OF LIFE
Inspired by Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, the Protector of Lives network brings together groups in different countries – including Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands and Angola – dedicated to freeing animals at risk: from the smallest insects to fish, horses and cows.
Protector of Lives is part of the global MOTHER EARTH initiative, which promotes actions to protect biodiversity and encourage a more harmonious coexistence among all living beings.
