The Protector of Lives network is part of the global MOTHER EARTH initiative – founded by Buddhist master Pema Wangyal Rinpoche – which promotes actions aimed at preserving life and biodiversity.
In several countries, including Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Angola, people (Buddhist or not) gather to free animals from imminent death. Rinpoche hopes that, through these collective actions, millions of lives will be saved each year.
Watch the video: marine animals release carried out in Portugal, in which Pema Wangyal Rinpoche comments on the importance of this practice as a way to cultivate empathy and respect for all beings.
